Meet our Certified Diabetes Educator

Lori Muller, RD, LD, CDE

Diabetes Healthcare of New Hampshire at Derry Medical recently announced the appointment of Lori Muller, RD, LD, CDE, to their team of diabetes care specialists. Lori is working with James Harris, MS, ARNP, providing counseling, medical management and educational services to people living with diabetes.

Lori has a Bachelor's Degree in general nutrition from Rochester Institute of Technology. She has been an outpatient educator for over 10 years and has specialized in diabetes for the past 5 years. In 2006, she became a CDE, certified diabetes educator, specializing in diabetes self management training. 

“At Diabetes Healthcare of New Hampshire at Derry Medical, we create an individualized diabetic health plan for each patient that includes a complete nutrition assessment, the establishment of an appropriate exercise program, and we can make adjustments to the medication regimen for the best results,” Jim Harris explains. “Lori will be an integral part of our team, and patients will benefit from her expertise and experience.”

Lori is based at Derry Medical Center working on diabetes education and nutrition counseling for patients with diabetes. She enjoys the relationships she establishes helping others better understand how to manage their diabetes, improve their health and general well being.  

Lori lives in Derry along with her husband, Ed, and 10 year old twins. The family is currently active in local sports, swimming and skiing.
